CARE:

Please, never wash your wooden cutting board in the dishwasher!  

To clean your board, simply wash it with soap and warm water.  Wipe off the excess water and prop it up against your backsplash to let it dry naturally. 

MAINTENANCE:

If your cutting board looks dry, simply wipe it down with food safe mineral oil.  Oiling your board prevents it from drying and splitting, much like lotion helps your skin.

To remove strong food odors like onion and garlic,  wipe it down with some fresh lemon or a little baking soda. You may want to oil your board after you've done this.
